Here are some notable cities and regions where psychedelics have been decriminalized:
- Denver, Colorado: In May 2019, Denver became the first U.S. city to decriminalize psilocybin mushrooms, making the investigation and prosecution of psilocybin-related offenses the lowest law enforcement priority.
- Oakland and Santa Cruz, California: Both cities decriminalized psilocybin and other entheogenic plants in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
